The KOGs 5,000,000 Staking Window has opened! You can now stake your 1st, 2nd, 3rd Edition CHOOBs until October 15, 8:00 AM GMT+8 or UTC 00:00.
Your CHOOBs must remain staked and intact during this 90-day period.
If you're at a loss on what to do, relax, we've got your back. We've got the Staking 101 guide, but here's a quick list to help you get started:
Decide on what set to complete. Check out our Sets Guide to get an idea.
Trade with others to get KOGs or Slammers you are missing in your sets. You can also look for them on the secondary market.
Once you've completed your set, CHOOB them real quick! Log in to the My Collections page to CHOOB your sets. Note that there's a one-time fee of 5 $WAXP tokens when CHOOBing.
Time to STAKE! Remember that no matter where you created your CHOOB, staking is available only within our My Collections page.
After staking your CHOOBs, and we cannot stress this enough…
a. DO NOT do anything to your staked TUBEs during this 90-day period for you to get your reward.
b. That means no opening of CHOOBs, no trading, no selling, no anything.
c. Staked CHOOBs must NEVER leave your account. Otherwise, you cancel your staking rewards.
d. If you buy or sell a staked CHOOB, it will automatically be un-staked.
e. Staked CHOOBs must remain untouched until January 14, 8:00 AM GMT+8 or UTC 00:00
Now that you know how to stake, let's talk about the staking rewards.
The prize pool for the previous staking campaign was 4M RFOX. This was distributed among 3 staking windows.
This time, we are increasing the prize pool to 5M RFOX. Yes, 5,000,000 RFOX to be given away! That's a whole lot of RFOX!
Each set has a pool of 56,820 RFOX, which will be distributed evenly among the number of staked sets of the same kind.
For example, the RFOX pool rewards for a staked Foil Ultra Rare Royal Superset is 56,820. But that doesn't mean that each set will be given 56,820 RFOX. By the end of the staking campaign, if there are 10 Foil Ultra Rare Royal Supersets staked, 56,820 RFOX will be divided among 10. Each staked set will get 5,682 RFOX.
A Common KOG Rainbow set, on the other hand, is a kind of set that's easier to complete. So you can anticipate that a lot of Koggers will be able to complete this set. Let's say, for example, that by the end of the staking campaign, about 500 Common KOG Rainbow sets were staked. Divide 56,820 by that, and each set will get 113.64 RFOX.
That means the rarer the set you completed, the higher the chances of getting more RFOX.
Of course, you can CHOOB 'em and stake 'em! But they're not included in this staking window. We will open a separate staking window specifically for Special Editions, Arena, and Tournament KOGs. Watch out for our announcement about that!
Now go complete your sets! Look for y our missing pieces on the Marketplace!
